Some kids need more than a one-size-fits-all approach. Our micro-school offers the flexibility, support, and individualized learning they deserve.
GEARS Academy is a therapeutic micro-school designed for children who thrive with individualized learning and flexible education. Combining behavior analysis and special education techniques, our program goes beyond traditional academics to build essential social, emotional, and life skills. With small class sizes, multi-age groups, and a hands-on approach, we tailor instruction to each child's unique strengths and needs. Our dedicated educators foster an inclusive, supportive environment where students gain confidence, independence, and a love for learning. At GEARS Academy, we believe every child deserves a place where they can truly thrive. We provide a range of services to support students with diverse learning needs. Our services include individualized education plans, academic tutoring, behavior intervention, and social skills training. We believe that every student deserves access to the resources they need to succeed, and we are here to provide that support.

A micro-school is an alternative education model that prioritizes personalized learning, small class sizes, and flexible instruction. Unlike traditional schools, micro-schools offer multi-age group learning, individualized curriculum, and a community-oriented environment where students receive the attention and support they need to thrive. With a focus on academic growth, social development, and hands-on learning, micro-schools bridge the gap between homeschooling and conventional education, providing a tailored approach that meets each child's unique needs.
We use differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs of our students, providing them with the support and challenge they need to achieve their full potential.
We use data to inform our instructional practices and decision-making, ensuring that we are meeting the individualized needs of each student.
